I was at the beach when my original battery went dead. I put this one in and took over 1000 pictures and still have lots of battery left. About 100 of them were with flash. Most were on manual focus so I'm not sure how much drain I saved on it there but bottom line is I recommend this to anyone. -- Just what it says.

These batteries have worked great for me so far. I took them to Yosemite and only needed one during the trip. I took about 250 photos and it still had 3 bars left. -- So Far So Good

I'll put it simple: fits *perfectly* in both camera and charger, powers my D5000 considerably longer than the original battery, and costs 1/3 of the price. What else? -- Cheaper and better than the original

I usually never write product reviews, but I was so impressed with the performance of this battery that I felt compelled to write a review. I bought this battery as an extra backup for my Nikon D40x for an 8 day backpacking trip. I decided to use this battery first and I took approximately 400 hi-res photos within 8 days and the battery was FULL the entire trip. It didn't reduce by one bar until my flight home on the 8th day. For as cheap as it is, it lasted longer than the original expensive Nikon battery. Save money and buy this! -- Amazing Life

I read a review that this thing wouldn't charge because it kept blinking in the charger so I experimented with it and left it in anyway. Put in in my camera the next day and it actually did charge, just ignore the blinking. -- Defective...sorta
